Documents (Dropbox) Help
Q: I clicked on the link and it's taking me to Dropbox? What is this?
A: Dropbox is a service which we use to host our document storage.
Q: Great... but is't asking me if I want to open in the app or in a browser. What do I do?
A: Click on the "open in browser" link; You'll then be able to view the documents. There might still be a prompt to "get the app", but it's not needed.
Q: OK, I can see the documents and I opened one. How do I get back to the list?
A: Click on the back button next to the document file name. It looks like this symbol: [<]
Q: Got it... What does the Dropbox app get me?
A: If you download Dropbox, you can store and share 2GB of files in the cloud for free. You can create a dropbox account, or link directly to a Google account.
Q: Why are we using Dropbox instead of Google Drive?
A: Dropbox allows for direct link access without an associated user account. Google offers similar functionality, but you need a Google account to see files. Not everyone in IHYC has a Google account.
